The dealership is run by Reed Auto Group, who has been a fixture in the community of Kansas City since opening its first shop in 1989. The family owned auto group puts an emphasis on providing a shopping experience like no other. In order to best serve the Kansas City area, they opened Reed CDJR in February of 2018.

I’ve been in the car business my whole life, and ever since I got out of the military, I have made it a point to learn as much as possible about every aspect of our dealerships. From the service department to the collision center, I wanted to find new ways to elevate our stores and help our team to be successful. That’s where MAX Digital comes into play. We were using one of the competitors for appraising and merchandising, but it fell flat to our needs. We brought in MAX Inventory and noticed an immediate improvement in turn and gross profit per car. We were doing everything the same. The only thing that changed was we brought in FirstLook…and we never looked back.

As a veteran owned and operated dealership, Reed CDJR puts a focus on helping those who have fought for our country. Together, the Reed Auto Group started a nonprofit called Helping Heroes. The organization accrues money for every car that is sold, and donates proceeds toward helping wounded veterans. Together with doctors in the Kansas City area, Reed Auto Group helps treat veterans and active duty service members. 100% of everything donated goes directly to helping the foundation.
